Hello all, My name is Hunter (22m) looking to play DnD as a player! I am a DnD veteran and mostly forever DM, but I really want to get into a game as a player and stick to a character long term. That being said, I am only really free Mondays and Tuesdays after 5 p.m. CST for the foreseeable future. I am still in academia so my schedule can get weird but I'll always have free time during the week. I would prefer playing a fairly serious campaign, and especially one that is full of good role players like myself! I enjoy meaningful combat in my games, and I also enjoy preparation/information gathering on the bbeg or specific scenario! I especially like when a group is invested in the stakes of a campaign and chooses to take most things serious, albeit I am all for some hijinks ;). Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I have some experience in dnd. I have played a several sessions of 2014, and have read through some of the rules for 2024. I am available Friday-Monday every second week due to work

I really like to focus on support roles, especially ones focused on crown control systems or single target restraint. If a team is lacking in an apect, I'd also be happy to switch to a tank or dps focused role too. I will be availiable friday through sunday at all times, on Thursdays I have calculus exams every couple weeks, so I can only consistently come if play is scheduled after six. Tuesdays and Thursdays are going to be harder to make work for me, but after six I should be consistently able to meet. I use EST time zones.

I'm only able to play on weekends, 12 PM to 8 PM CET (as I'm a student and I don't want to fuck over my sleep schedule). I'm very friendly and love meeting new people. I like a good mix of roleplay and combat. I'm okay with most things that can show up in campaigns, like characters dying and stuff like that. Hey! I'm Juxu (M19) looking for a group to play DND with for the first time. I have, however, read the Player’s Handbook and watched DND campaigns, so I know most of the basics as well as some more advanced rules, and I am familiar with the different classes, subclasses, etc. I’m mostly available on weekends or during GMT-3 weekday afternoons. It would be very unlikely for me to not show up at the session! I enjoy the roleplay aspects of DND, the big character moments, exploration and lore, the political intrigue and how the player actions influence the world. I particularly like when details of a character's background are used in the campaign and are a big focus of the story--if, of course, everyone at the table is getting included and also has their big moments. I do note I have nothing against combat. Exploring creepy ruins and fighting big bads across a detailed world would also be very enjoyable. A character idea I had, for example, was that of a Lorwyn Changeling - Ranger (Swarmkeeper); Druid (Circle of Spores) - that has a colony of sentient spores that wants to spread their hive-mind, just to give an example of what I might conjure up! Though I would always make sure the GM is fine with the character concept and backstory, and I have no problem adjusting. Thanks for reading.

hello i am pretty well versed in the dnd 5e ruleset, other games i'm willing to learn and pick up quickly. I like gaming, i love role playing and i collect dice like gold. my boundaries: no erp at the table please unless everyone signs off on it, i'll do a fade to black at most if not, cuz not everyone is gonna be comfortable describing adult themes like that at the table, know my sexuality does not reflect what my character is, and please don't do SA roleplay, i shouldn't have to clarify why. if there's a problem with how i play, please talk to me i'm receptive to criticism, i won't play with anyone under 21, please let me know if minors are at the table, i don't wanna detract from their hobby bc i have a hang up about it. Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E system or Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e. A few notes about me: I tend to be soft-spoken with new people, but I warm up quickly once I get to know the group. Logistically, I am in the Eastern Time Zone and work typical office hours. I am interested in playing with a group that challenges my role playing skills. Mystery and puzzles always the better. Depending on the game, I could play power hungry, but not in abuse of game rules, in the literal sense. A wizard looking for immortality, a sorcerer looking to become an actual dragon, a fighter looking to master the blade. I am very open however to playing a character to help a DM push a plotline. For example, a Warforged left without a memory, to be filled in later. A Warlock who just wants to find out what happened to his brother, who got wrapped up in some story the DM decides.

Hey all! I've always been a huge video game fan, and I recently picked back up Baldurs Gate 3. In playing, I once again fell in love with the mystical world of strategy and tabletop games. I've never played dungeons and dragons before but I have many friends who do/have. I am somewhat familiar with how the game works. Ie. I know classes and how to build a character. However, I've never actually taken the leap and played before. So, this is my leap. I'm 25 years old and I'm free most weeknights (not Wednesday) and free most weekends. I love building a character and getting fully enveloped in the world. Roleplay is always fun for me, but I think I'd also love to do combat as well. Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much fun for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore. I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes: I'm interested in traditional fantasy, can be low or high magic. My favourite fantasy authors are Tolkien and Guy Gavriel Kaye. I am going to give a hard pass on horror or modern settings. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. I'm available any day except Thursday. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't use a web cam. I have a beefy computer and fibre internet to my desk. Hi! I'm a chill D&D nerd looking for a new group. I've been playing for a few years and honestly can't get enough of it. I'm the type who ends up deepdiving rulebooks just for fun, and I love finding a really specific mechanical gimmick to build a whole character around. I lean roleplay-heavy (still love a good combat encounter!) and I get way too invested in character concepts, names, backstories, and personality quirks. I'm easygoing at the table, but I show up prepared and I care about the story we're building together as much as the mechanics.

Looking for~ Edition: 5.5e (could potentially be open for a modern day/cthulu horror campaign as well). Platform: Open (comfortable w/D&DB, Roll20, and Discord; have used AboveVTT once, haven't used but familiar w/FoundryVTT, never used Owlbear.) Day/Time: a Saturday evening game 6/7pm CST to 10/11pm CST. Frequency: Every other week. I am not a good fit for your game if you encourage or enable players being murder-hobos or "chaos goblinery" to excess. I am not looking for a Dungeon Crawler Carl experience. If you ignore your players anonymity because you think/feel something would be cooler/more fun for the PC because that's how you would play it, I'm not a good fit. As far as a player, I am a TEAM player (it's OUR story, not MY story). I don't believe in playing an evil character in a party, though a party of evil players is acceptable (90% of the time PCs trying to play evil in a mixed party always cause an issue). I'm a player that will ask you about your world and try to build a character that isn't anachronistic to your world or theme. I will build a background that provides you hooks to use as you wish. I will not play a character out of sync with their level (ie. a 1st level Bard is earning his stripes, not performing in front of a king). I believe RaW gives structure, RoC/PBTA/HB can give flavor and cinematic action AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T IMBALANCE THE SYSTEM. If none of this applies for your game(s) or play style, I respect that. I am not asking to be included in your game(s) because I want us all to enjoy what we like.

Hello, I am Ez! A player more on the beginner side of things but I am open to learn different systems as well :) I played in one 2 year DND 2014 campaign (homebrew), a couple of one shots and am playing in a sandbox-like campaign for 3 months now. I am looking for a weekly game that starts after 4 PM GMT Tue-Fri. I prefer groups of 4-5 players (+DM). Only non-paid games. I only have experience with DnD so far, but I don't mind learning new systems or playing in a homebrew. I am more focused on the roleplay aspect but I do like combat/exploration as well, though I am definitely not an optimizer, more of a "this sounds cool and fits my character so I'll take it" kind of guy. I prefer to make a new character fitting the setting (and the group). I appreciate both serious and funny moments in games. I mostly enjoy fantasy / mythical / magical settings - think worlds like Forgotten Realms, Guild Wars 2 or LotR ones, but also Eastern style of fantasy.

Only downside of me is my terrible maths, I always end up asking "I rolled a 12 and my modifier is 2. What number is that?". My timezone is GMT +0 and I like in the UK, I would prefer weekdays as I'm typically busy on Saturday. Race wise I always end up playing an elven race but I'm fine switching it up. Aesthetics wise my characters always lean towards a gothic/baroque style of apperance. (In a non-edgy way.) Looking to play some D&D, not sure what else to put here. Not the best at self-descriptions so I'm just gonna type out what I'm saying. Uhh... I've liked the game for about four years now, but my play experience is limited, and I'd like it to be less so. Playstyle - I like a more roleplay focused table but also enjoy combat as well. I have built lots of characters that have deep backstory but also have cool stuff for combat. Experience - I have not played yet but I have made lots of characters and are very excited to put them to use. I have also watched a people play D&D on YouTube but I understand that it won't be exactly like that. Time - I can pretty much do anytime after 2pm on any day of the week except Monday I have lots of different characters of all classes that I've created but I also have no problem making new ones to better match the world that's been created or that better matches the party. Hello there! I am Luvas. I have been wanting to get back into D&D now that I have found some free time again! I love roleplaying and combat, but an ideal split for me would be 60-70%RP/30-40% combat. Not exactly that ratio, but like, more rp than combat. My experience includes a little bit in AD&D, a little in 4e, and most experience in the current 5.5e/5e. Hello, new to dnd but long time fan and wanted to play, just don't know how to find groups. I have many characters with back stories, bonds, the whole gambit. I'm 42 as well just being honest. I don't think I act it, if an issue have a nice day. If still here looking for a weekly role play with combat campaign to try some roleplay.

Looking for exploration, mystery, and problem solving in D&D campaigns. I prefer sandbox style games and enjoy strategizing, planning and coming up with creative solutions for problems, whether through talking, investigating backgrounds, infiltration, political drama, coming up with schemes, or tactical combat. Campaigns with higher difficulty and consequential decisions are ideal. I prefer classes with high utility potential (I love solving problems), and Ideally there's a team dynamic that eveyone is specialist in some aspect and problems require all of us to work like a heist team. For character background, I find identity delimmas, personal ambitions or past trauma to be quite cool, where they set into adventure because they need to escape from their past, find meaning in it or helps them find answers. Detail and fit within world needs to be discussed with the DM. Relatively new to D&D (a few sessions as DM), but I know the rules and basics quite well. I'm 27 and located in UK, generally prefer online campaigns, and available weekdays after 18:00 UK time and weekends.

Her family's reputation was a lie. To maintain their flawless crops and unnatural longevity, the elders had secretly bound their estate to an ancient, buried entity of pure rot: The Withered King. When Nettle discovered the secret crypt beneath the manor, her own kin chose to sacrifice her rather than let the truth escape. They bound her to the altar, offering her life to feed the entity. But the ritual inverted. Instead of consuming her, the dying, spiteful god chose her as its avatar, tearing through the noble estate and reducing the House of Silverhart to ash and bone in a single night. Nettle walked out of the ruins alive, but permanently cursed with necromantic decay.

I like to roleplay primarily (if you have a out of session rp chat for between sessions you are rad) but when combat i like to use tactics that fit the character the best. I live on the East Coast of the United States (EST) (GMT-5) and am looking for a group thats around the evening for me (6pm-7pm). I like to create characters after joining a game but before my first session because it allows me to get an idea for the setting and how said character can interact with the world around it. My only real content warnings are that i do not personally want to be in an npc or players character romance rp, sexual assault, and that you are chill with LGBTQ+ folks (ideally a few already in the group). Hi, I’m Chris. I’m an experienced D&D player and GM who enjoys story-driven campaigns with a good balance of roleplay, exploration, investigation, and combat. I especially enjoy gothic horror, dark fantasy, Ravenloft-style settings, and campaigns where character choices have meaningful consequences. As a player, I prefer cooperative groups, well-developed characters, and a mature but relaxed table. I enjoy tactical play, but I’m more interested in memorable characters and strong group chemistry than optimisation for its own sake. I’m reliable, prepared, comfortable with Discord and Roll20, and interested in a stable long-term group. My main reservations are disruptive PvP, excessive metagaming, rules arguments, and characters designed to undermine the party. I’m otherwise flexible and happy to play with both experienced and newer players. Availability is mornings typically during the week (8am to 3pm EST)

I pride myself on being able to effectively fill any necessary role that the party may need. Diving into the roleplay and being able to uncover backstories, converse over the mysteries presented in the game narrative, and explore the world in an often unique fashion. Giving a character some depth is fun for me, as people often want their character to be more than stats on a sheet but in my experience they often don't know how to do so. I try to find ways to do that with people so that they might enjoy their experience more.
