I have some experience in dnd. I have played a several sessions of 2014, and have read through some of the rules for 2024. I am available Friday-Monday every second week due to work

I really like to focus on support roles, especially ones focused on crown control systems or single target restraint. If a team is lacking in an apect, I'd also be happy to switch to a tank or dps focused role too. I will be availiable friday through sunday at all times, on Thursdays I have calculus exams every couple weeks, so I can only consistently come if play is scheduled after six. Tuesdays and Thursdays are going to be harder to make work for me, but after six I should be consistently able to meet. I use EST time zones.

Hey! I'm Juxu (M19) looking for a group to play DND with for the first time. I have, however, read the Player’s Handbook and watched DND campaigns, so I know most of the basics as well as some more advanced rules, and I am familiar with the different classes, subclasses, etc. I’m mostly available on weekends or during GMT-3 weekday afternoons. It would be very unlikely for me to not show up at the session! I enjoy the roleplay aspects of DND, the big character moments, exploration and lore, the political intrigue and how the player actions influence the world. I particularly like when details of a character's background are used in the campaign and are a big focus of the story--if, of course, everyone at the table is getting included and also has their big moments. I do note I have nothing against combat. Exploring creepy ruins and fighting big bads across a detailed world would also be very enjoyable. A character idea I had, for example, was that of a Lorwyn Changeling - Ranger (Swarmkeeper); Druid (Circle of Spores) - that has a colony of sentient spores that wants to spread their hive-mind, just to give an example of what I might conjure up! Though I would always make sure the GM is fine with the character concept and backstory, and I have no problem adjusting. Thanks for reading.

Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E system or Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e. A few notes about me: I tend to be soft-spoken with new people, but I warm up quickly once I get to know the group. Logistically, I am in the Eastern Time Zone and work typical office hours. Long-time player going back to AD&D and Shadowrun 2nd Edition. I’m getting more into the rhythm of GMing and really enjoying it. I tend to be generous with loot, but I’m actively working on balancing rewards and challenge. I have a solid amount of experience with D&D 3.5 and 5e, and I’m familiar with GURPS. I’m also designing my own antiessentialist, leveled point-buy system called UNBOUND, which has given me a deeper understanding of mechanics, balance, and encounter design. I am interested in playing with a group that challenges my role playing skills. Mystery and puzzles always the better. Depending on the game, I could play power hungry, but not in abuse of game rules, in the literal sense. A wizard looking for immortality, a sorcerer looking to become an actual dragon, a fighter looking to master the blade. I am very open however to playing a character to help a DM push a plotline. For example, a Warforged left without a memory, to be filled in later. A Warlock who just wants to find out what happened to his brother, who got wrapped up in some story the DM decides.

I really like dungon Crawl. -I don't mind being in a stream ether if you want to stream the campain. -I'm not afraid to have characters die, and have to make a new one to continue the campain. if the DM ever needs alittle help I might be able to look something up in my books to help. any time works as of this moment. until I get a new job. -I have 14 5E books that have sat on the shelf far to long (including new ones). I have some expeance playing D&D but I always ended up being the DM and I'm tired of having expeanced players telling me I'm a bad DM. Hey all! I've always been a huge video game fan, and I recently picked back up Baldurs Gate 3. In playing, I once again fell in love with the mystical world of strategy and tabletop games. I've never played dungeons and dragons before but I have many friends who do/have. I am somewhat familiar with how the game works. Ie. I know classes and how to build a character. However, I've never actually taken the leap and played before. So, this is my leap. I'm 25 years old and I'm free most weeknights (not Wednesday) and free most weekends. I love building a character and getting fully enveloped in the world. Roleplay is always fun for me, but I think I'd also love to do combat as well. Either way,I would describe myself as reliable and comitted to showing up to games on time, as well as giving my GM a character with a bckstory and relevant hooks! As you may have guessed, Imost enjoy character and narrative driven games where the story and lore matter, as do player/character choices. I am a massive fan of fleshing out my character, as well as others, in RP both trivial and important to the narrative, anything to immerse us further in the story and world. I also enjoy combat, and am a firm believer thatRP doesn't have to end when initiative is rolled. I enjoy flavoring my attacks,chanting my verbal componants, and digging into how my hero reacts to the action! I am a huge fan of the Legend of Drizzt books and have been steadily working my way through the series. I also enjoy the Percy Jackson books, I've begun The Stormlight Archives! I am a big fan of World of Warcraft, Dragon Age Origins, Baldur's Gate 3, the Pathfinder CRPGs, and many more games in similar veins.

I have played alot of D&D over the years mostly 5e but I have also added some of 5.5. I do watch alot of a group called Nat19 and so I try to use their materials when I can.

DM looking four players for a new series of 5.5e one-shot games for "Faster, Purple Worm! Everybody Dies, Vol. 1." We meet weekly Thursday nights in person. Committed and mature players (21+) welcomed. Sessions run for about three hours, starting at 7 PM and wrapping up around 10. Hey yall! Im a fairly experienced DM at this point amd i run a weekly game at my house. I have a lot of cool physical terrain amd minis that use, my garage is set up as a game room with a gaming table, lights and music, the works! Im looking for one or two dedicated and consistent players to fill up the space in my group. My four main players have been together with me for going on 5 years now. We play in a homebrew world with 5.5 rules. All are welcome. More experience is definitely a plus but we're not opposed to newer players who are still learning. We play alternating thursdays and Saturdays. Thursdays is 6pm to 10pm and Saturdays are 4pm to 10pm usually.

I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much fun for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore. I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes: I'm interested in traditional fantasy, can be low or high magic. My favourite fantasy authors are Tolkien and Guy Gavriel Kaye. I am going to give a hard pass on horror or modern settings. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. I'm available any day except Thursday. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't use a web cam. I have a beefy computer and fibre internet to my desk. I'm the type who ends up deepdiving rulebooks just for fun, and I love finding a really specific mechanical gimmick to build a whole character around. I lean roleplay-heavy (still love a good combat encounter!) and I get way too invested in character concepts, names, backstories, and personality quirks. I'm easygoing at the table, but I show up prepared and I care about the story we're building together as much as the mechanics.

A player more on the beginner side of things but I am open to learn different systems as well :) I played in one 2 year DND 2014 campaign (homebrew), a couple of one shots and am playing in a sandbox-like campaign for 3 months now. I am looking for a weekly game that starts after 4 PM GMT Tue-Fri. I prefer groups of 4-5 players (+DM). Only non-paid games. I only have experience with DnD so far, but I don't mind learning new systems or playing in a homebrew. I am more focused on the roleplay aspect but I do like combat/exploration as well, though I am definitely not an optimizer, more of a "this sounds cool and fits my character so I'll take it" kind of guy. I prefer to make a new character fitting the setting (and the group). I appreciate both serious and funny moments in games. I mostly enjoy fantasy / mythical / magical settings - think worlds like Forgotten Realms, Guild Wars 2 or LotR ones, but also Eastern style of fantasy.

I'd say I'm somewhat experienced but I can need a hand with newer things. I'm someone who gets heavily invested into roleplay (minus doing a voice), and always keen to make a character fitting it. I take plenty notes and doodle frequently during sessions. So if you are looking for a player whose motivated and always up for a session, I'd be more than willing to join! Only downside of me is my terrible maths, I always end up asking "I rolled a 12 and my modifier is 2. What number is that?". My timezone is GMT +0 and I like in the UK, I would prefer weekdays as I'm typically busy on Saturday. Personally I usually play warlocks and clerics, BUT! I'm open to anything as I love trying new play styles. Never played a druid or bard but always wanted to. Race wise I always end up playing an elven race but I'm fine switching it up. Aesthetics wise my characters always lean towards a gothic/baroque style of apperance. (In a non-edgy way.) I am an artist and always end up drawing things for campaigns, its my favourite part. I'm use to discord and dndbeyond but feel free to introduce me to new systems! Boundaries: - No sexual campaigns. (Jokes are fine, must remain jokes.) - No OOC flirting. - No webcams. - Must be LGBTQIA+ friendly. - I prefer playing with other adults. - I'm not a fan of ai usage. Playstyle - I like a more roleplay focused table but also enjoy combat as well. I have built lots of characters that have deep backstory but also have cool stuff for combat. Experience - I have not played yet but I have made lots of characters and are very excited to put them to use. I have also watched a people play D&D on YouTube but I understand that it won't be exactly like that. Time - I can pretty much do anytime after 2pm on any day of the week except Monday I have lots of different characters of all classes that I've created but I also have no problem making new ones to better match the world that's been created or that better matches the party. Hello there! I am Luvas. I have been wanting to get back into D&D now that I have found some free time again! I love roleplaying and combat, but an ideal split for me would be 60-70%RP/30-40% combat. Not exactly that ratio, but like, more rp than combat. My experience includes a little bit in AD&D, a little in 4e, and most experience in the current 5.5e/5e.
