Description

Mondays, 21:00–00:00 UK local time (BST/GMT). Groupfinder doesn't provide a UK time zone that automatically accounts for the clock change. The game will always run at 21:00 UK local time. Hello, my name is James. I’m a GM from the UK. I've been a GM for a very long time and enjoy running games for people. I run a stream called Test Chamber, where we play many different systems. I'm looking for reliable players who collaborate well and communicate when they can't make a session. Someone who enjoys roleplaying with the other players, shares the spotlight with their fellow players, and even brings them up so everyone looks better. Someone comfortable playing with new faces, forming friendships, and supporting one another! OUTGUNNED In a world where ruthless Villains plot in the shadows to steal nuclear launch codes and bring entire nations to their knees. A world where high-speed ski chases end with you leaping off a mountain with a Union Jack parachute, infiltrating a volcanic lair before everything ends with a gun battle, and engaging in espionage as you break into a safe that holds an invitation you need to get to an exclusive party. Outgunned lets you play as the action hero, but not alone; you have a group of individuals with their own unique abilities and specialities. One is a gun-toting walking arsenal, another a hacker who knows kung fu, while another could sell ice cubes in the Arctic Circle with their words. Another might be a card shark who could run rings around anyone in Vegas. THREE MOVIE CAMPAIGN This isn't a one-shot; I plan to run a trilogy of three connected action movies using the same Heroes throughout. You'll create your Heroes together in the first session, then take them through all three movies, giving them time to develop, advance, and build relationships with the rest of the team. The first movie is Project Medusa. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to destroy Project Medusa. What is Project Medusa? Who is behind it? And why are people willing to kill to keep it secret? Finding those answers is your problem. Project Medusa will be followed by a second movie, adapted from Fate Makes No Promises, before finishing with an original third movie that brings the Heroes' story together and concludes the trilogy. I'm allowing plenty of time for each movie because I don't want us to rush through them just to reach the end. We enjoy roleplaying and character interaction, so while Outgunned is full of big cinematic action, there will also be time for the Heroes to actually get to know each other. THE STREAM Test Chamber streams live on Twitch and later uploads to YouTube. You do not need a webcam. Instead, each player has their character portrait on screen, which reacts when they speak. You will need a decent microphone and somewhere reasonably quiet to play. You don't need any previous streaming experience either. If you've never played a TTRPG on stream before, that's absolutely fine. INTERESTED? If you're interested, fill out the application form: Log in to view The form isn't about finding the person with the most RPG experience. It's there to help me find people who I think will work well together. If your application looks like a good fit, we'll have a short Discord voice chat so we can meet, talk about Test Chamber, and you can ask me questions too.

Group of 4 looking for a long term weekly campaign

Hey everyone! We are a group of 4 players, who have come together to tackle the first and most difficult quest of all: find a GM... to then hopefully tackle many more! A little about us as a group: We are all in our mid-20s+ and come from different parts of Europe. We know each other for very different amounts of times (from childhood friends, playing together for around 1 year all the way to just joining together for this group), but we have played some sessions together so we built some chemistry together! Everyone has played a little bit, but most of us have only recently started playing PF2E. What are we looking for?: We are mostly looking to have a fun time with some nice mix of RP and combat. Basically just a pretty standard game. We are very open and excited to run through almost any AP or homebrew setting you feel like running! Only exceptions would be AV and SoT as Faraday knows those already Quick inidividual player rundown: Bread: Mostly ok with a lot of things mechanically but strictly prefers to play melee frontline classes. Not new to TTRPGs but very new to Pathfinder. I can get very invested in the story and love to roleplay and fight according to the story. Faraday/John: The most experienced with PF2E of the group. Note taker, plot hook follower who knows the shiny red button sometimes needs to be pushed, fun loving guy. Also hates having Charisma as a dump stat Wadoder: Also has a lot of experience with different TTRPGS, but only recently got into Pathfinder (after I gave him the final push and recruited him). He can come up with some very crazy and chaotic characters and you often wont know what hes up to next Advocate (me): I recently found my love for PF2E, its crunchier rules and especially the character customization. I mostly enjoy playing spellcasters, especially the Witch followed by Summoner! Im also a big note-taker and puzzle-enjoyer Platform/VTT: Discord for voice chat and we would prefer running through Foundry Availability: As the title says we are looking for a preferably weekly game on Monday or Wednesday starting at around 8 to 8:30pm Central European time and running for about 3h If this sounds like fun to you, send me a message on discord to "countadvocate".

One world and a big pool of players, but no fixed party - whoever signs up that week is who plays.

TCR is D&D 5e with re-balances to make it more fair and fun. we operate like an MMO, you simply create your character then you can sign up to join any quest. you keep all loot and level up after each quest. You can have multiple characters if you want to try different set up out. We have 13 classes with a total of 170+ subclasses. We have re-worked the races and plan to add more as we go. if we dont have something that your looking for let us know :D We use discord for voice and Foundry VTT for battle maps, rules and character creation. The VTT is heavily modified to be easier to use and more automated so you can focus more on the combat and roleplaying rather than finding stuff in a clustered system. We have a group of active GM's throwing out quests on a weekly basis. Alot of these quests are also part of a larger quest series that lets you delve into more lore and investigations. Contact me if you wish to know more or join our discord! https://discord.gg/yGRMnh8cXg

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday A group decides on day & time Most people will probably play between 16:00 – 21:00 (GMT+0) It'll be played in a Discord voice chat "Theatre of the Mind" playstyle (means no VTT) My Discord (weebseatshit) *PREMISE* You are dragged into a dangerous encounter together with other unlucky ones. Now you are bonded whether you want it or not. Since you are a witness, some people want you dead, watch your back(s) & trust no one It's an RP-focused, Forgotten Realms based, homebrew campaign, with an emphasis on story & adventures Ratio: 40 Roleplay/40 Exploration/20 Combat Starting level is 1 Standard array for the abilities Milestone leveling The spells become cantrips, you can cast them without components or GP The spells cooldown is depending from their power level & the DM's will, but if a player is gonna spam the spells, i'll Elfen Lied him or put some shit like Leo Bonhart from Witcher  Some spells that affect game's balance & world, may be forbidden. It'll be discussed Instead of HP you have HPBars, & you don't know how big are your enemies HPB HPB are rather "cinematic". Depending from how much & what kind of damage you receive, i'll adjust your condition. But in general: 6 HPB: Sorcerer, Wizard 8 HPB: Bard, Cleric, Druid, Monk, Rogue, Warlock 10 HPB: Fighter, Paladin, Ranger 12 HPB: Barbarian Only these races are allowed: Human, Elf (Moon, Wood), Dwarf, Goliath, Tiefling (Purple, Pink, Blue), Tystling (a human with cat ears (& eyes)) Artificer & Psion aren't allowed I'll describe locations & looks with little to no detail Just like with the books, i'd prefer that every player imagined their own stuff (& because there may be an info that player may not get or just ignore) About the forbidden spells. As an example, this is only lvl 1 Wizard, but i hope you get an idea Instead of using ability checks or in-game tools, (acquiring unique items, talking to people, searching for clues, improvise) you just cast this spell & it does it Mending Charm Person Detect Magic Detect Poison and Disease Friends Unseen Servant Tasha's Hideous Laughter Sudden Awakening Sleep Sense Emotion Puppet Identify Id Insinuation Healing Elixir Disguise Self Comprehend Languages Cause Fear Ressurection & lethal spells A tystling is similar to a cat Monochrome darkvision Enhanced senses: smell, hearing, vision, touch & balance (+3 Dexterity, Perception, Acrobatics) Soft step: walking is almost noiseless (unless a tystling has something noisy on), running is slightly quieter comparing to other races (+4 Stealth) A tystling is shorter than an elf, but taller than a dwarf A tystling is slim like an elf, but lighter than an elf, with smaller muscles. That makes a tystling even more agile & dexterous than an elf, but it's very hard for a tystling to lift or carry medium heavy things (8 AC, -5 Strength, Athletics)
