Description

Looking for adventurers! Have you always wanted to try D&D but never had the chance? Or are you a seasoned adventurer looking for a relaxed, story-focused table? I’m looking for players to join me for Lost Mine of Phandelver, a classic D&D 5e adventure filled with exploration, roleplay, dungeon delving, and plenty of opportunities for your characters to become the heroes of the story. 🎲 About the Game
  • System: D&D 5e
  • Adventure: Lost Mine of Phandelver
  • Experience Level: Beginners absolutely welcome!
  • Table: 18+
  • GM Experience: 2 years
  • Style: Rule of Cool > Rules As Written
  • Tone: Adventure, exploration, roleplay, comedy, and classic fantasy
  • LGBTQ+ Friendly: 🏳️‍🌈 Everyone is welcome at my table
I’m a relatively laid-back GM who cares more about everyone having a great time than stopping the game every five minutes to consult a rulebook. If something makes sense for the story and doesn’t completely break the game, I’m usually willing to roll with it. Creativity is encouraged. If you have an idea that isn’t explicitly covered by the rules, tell me what you’re trying to do and we’ll figure it out together. 🌟 New Players Welcome Never played D&D before? That’s completely fine. I’ll help you learn the basics as we play, explain rules when they come up, and give you room to learn without feeling like you’re being tested. You don’t need to know what every action, bonus action, reaction, spell slot, or mysterious collection of numbers on your character sheet means before we start.

Runial

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
The campaign takes place on a world called Runial. It's made up of a number of factions, the foremost being: Civils, the alliance of demi humans such as humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes, halflings, orcs, goblins, and any other manner of humanoid beings. Ferals, which are more animal than humanoid, anthropomorphic creatures made up of any animal species you can imagine. Pseudofauna, which are a mix of demi human and some animal trait. Examples of this include Holstaur, winged humans, certain harpies and so on. They're distrusted by both Civil and Feral societies yet are free to pass through either albeit with some trouble. Outworlders, mysterious beings with special powers that are resistant to Runian natives. They can be any Runian race, although none of them come with memories of how they came to be. Civilization for the most part on Runial can be described as the 1800s. The most advanced parts of the world have access to the most basic of amenities, such as rudimentary plumbing and electricity. Weaponry has advanced up to single action revolvers and lever action rifles. Runial in recent times has been plagued by a mysterious weather phenomenon known as the Aetherwind, a warm gentle breeze that rises from the ground, bringing with it motes of multicolored orbs of mana that float gently towards the sky. Any living thing caught in the Aetherwind is quickly and horribly mutated, rarely surviving the process. Alongside the appearance of the Aetherwind came the arrival of beings known as Outworlders, people of any Runian race that came with special abilities and high resistant to attacks and effects from Runian natives, making them difficult to deal with without extreme measures. The Aetherwind began at the most northern point of Runial and over time has crept slowly to the south, pushing the Civil races down towards Feral territories. Ferals, in an attempt to retain their lands, have declared a war on Civils to prevent their encroachment and Civils, desperate to escape the Aetherwind, grab what land they can to survive. The Aetherwind can also appear in random pockets anywhere on Runial, making nowhere truly safe. You are an adventurer that has woken up in an alien looking laboratory with no memories of who you once were or what has been done to you. After a narrow escape, you're now looking for answers alongside others that have also escaped the facility. (Note: The game has themes of violence and is somewhat dark in nature without becoming too edgy. I do not focus on overtly sexual themes. We are partially on the second act of the campaign and are looking for 2 additional players for a long term commitment. I prefer newer players and don't mind teaching them, but veterans are ok too. My campaign has some homebrew and mixed elements. I DO use generative AI in creation of character images and some tokens in Foundry. I do NOT use AI in any part of my worldbuilding, character creation, or story progression. The players and GM are over 30. The session will take place over Discord mostly through text and voice, but for some sequences such as combat Foundry will be used.)

Hello all, I'm Jon the DM and we're looking for players local to Indianapolis to join our new Planescape campaign. I'm a seasoned DM of 15 years, currently in my 30s looking for like minded players to round out our group. Our group is a cluster of folks in their 30s whose DnD experience varies across the board.  I tend to run narrative/character driven games regardless of the setting or system punctuated by high stakes and action with time for RP throughout. I craft and 3D print my own terrain and minis, and my lovely girlfriend is usually the painter but I'm working to improve! We're looking to play biweekly, Sundays from 12-6pm every other Sunday. I'll host at my home on the East side of Indianapolis. Feel free to reach out with any questions, looking forward to hearing from you! The Game Pitch: Plucked from the Prime, you find your very existence questioned in the balance of the Cosmic Wheel. What you believe doesn't just change your mind, it changes the Planes. You wake up in Sigil, the City of Doors, a floating metropolis built on the inside of a massive ring hovering above infinity. Here at the center of all things, every angel, demon, and philosophy has a doorstep. Each alleyway contains a door to a different plane of existence, if you have the key. And berk, you don't know the dark of it!         Tone/Inspiration: Disco Elysium, Kill Six Billion Demons, Neverwhere, Labyrinth, Planescape: Torment (duh)
