Hey everyone! I run a D&D community called Session Zero. We’ve had incredible growth over the last few days with so many amazing new faces joining us, and we are looking to expand our tables! Our main goal is simple: create a relaxed, welcoming space where people from all over can get together and just enjoy playing D&D. What to expect Players Welcome: We have campaigns spinning up all the time. We have games spanning multiple timezones, so if you want to play, there is a seat waiting for you! No more scrolling through Forums for a table! We don't charge anything. Everything is free. Always. Calling DMs: Our demand for games is growing more and more. You won't have an issue finding players to fill them seats! Want to run a game? Then you're more than welcome to host here! With everything in house, no more hunting for players. We make you dedicated campaign channels, DMs sharing tons of resources they've built up and we can help anyway we can! While we are thrilled with our active player base, we are on the hunt for EU based DMs to help run some games. We have a few EU campaigns starting up, but getting more rolling is our top priority! (And of course, we are still welcoming DMs from outside the EU as well!) DM Perks: I have a large DnDBeyond book selection I share with DMs running games in here. Fully free! The Vibe: Whether you're a longstanding DM looking to find a new group of players to take on a magical adventure, or perhaps wanting to get into the DM chair for the first time but need some support, you will be more than welcome. Our player base is a mix from never playing a game before to years of experience. AireCon is a friendly and inclusive analog gaming festival in Harrogate Convention Centre. Whether you've come alone or with a massive group you'll find plenty of fun to be had and new friendly faces to meet. On top of that, we've partnered with Travelling Man to bring you a huge library of over 500 games that you can borrow from for free throughout the event. History AireCon started when Mrs C was away on a friend’s hen weekend. Mark decided that he’d have a few friends around to play some games and partake in some other gaming activities. With three tables set up, a schedule of events drawn up and even a sponsor, AireCon (now known as AireCon 0) was born in Mark’s flat. The name came about from looking at how other conventions got their name. Seeing that GenCon was named after Lake Geneva, Mark looked around for bodies of water nearby, and was immediately drawn to the River Aire, hence AireCon, and that squiggle that runs through the logo? That’s the river! Around this time, having returned from a brilliant time playing games at UK Games Expo, Mark looked around for other gaming events. Finding none he spoke to Ben about starting AireCon as a proper, public event and Ben had been thinking along similar lines. The first public AireCon (AireCon 1) was held at the place where Ben and Mark work in Bradford in April 2016, quickly followed by AireCon 2 in October 2016 but the constraints of the venue were already starting to show. Nabil and Rick were brought on board at this point to take the event to the next level. The growth necessitated a move to larger premises and, after an extensive search across Yorkshire, we settled on the Harrogate Convention Centre for AireCon 3 in March 2017. We also changed to running AireCon annually to allow more time to make sure it was an excellent event. AireCon 4, in March 2018, AireCon 5, March 2019 and AireCon 6, March 2020, have continued to see the event grow with more and more space being taken at the convention centre, mostly to allow for huge amounts of open gaming space, probably the largest in Europe! Due to the pandemic in 2021, AireCan’t took place instead of AireCon, where people were encouraged to Play at Home. The AireCon team have always enjoyed bringing people together and seeing the joy that tabletop gaming can bring, and this remains the same today as it did back in Mark’s flat. The emphasis at AireCon is on fun and providing opportunities for people to be able to game and it will always remain that way.

This podcast is about tabletop role-playing games around the world. In every episode, I interview RPG enthusiasts and professionals from a non-English speaking country about what games they play, what unique RPGs exist in their country, and how new people get into the hobby. Interviewees include regular gamers, club organizers, game shop owners, creators of actual play videos, RPG authors, and gaming studios.  While some places are known for their large role-playing scene and have a lot of local RPG systems, other regions of the world have smaller scenes and might not even have a single RPG in the local language. Every regular episode ends with a teaser for the next country – an excerpt from an actual play recording in that country’s language. Mutants & Masterminds is a superhero role-playing game written by Steve Kenson and published by Green Ronin Publishing. The current 3rd Edition, which also serves as the engine for the DC Adventures game, was released in 2010. It is highly flexible, point buy system that allows players to build any superpower they can come up with, from classic caped crusaders and vigilantes to cosmic entities and mystical sorcerers. Description Mutants & Masterminds' game mechanics use a highly modified version of the d20 System. All characters in this game, from heroes and villains to the average person on the street, are defined by eight abilities, basic traits each character has to a greater or lesser extent. Abilities tell you how strong, smart, and aware a character is, among other things. The abilities are: Strength, Stamina, Agility, Dexterity, Fighting, Intellect, Awareness, and Presence
