Description

Sci-Fi/Horror Paranormal Investigation In '90s Seattle Hi there! I am putting together a game about investigating paranormal threats to humanity on behalf of a mysterious organization, in the vein of The X-Files, BPRD, the SCP Foundation, and the Southern Reach trilogy. I have three decades of ttrpg experience mostly running Call of Cthulhu, WoD, D&D (2e & 5e), and Feng Shui.  I will be running this in Delta Green, the modern day spin-off of Call of Cthulhu, but will not be using the Cthulhu mythos lore that is the usual backdrop of Delta Green. The tone will still be dark, but a little lighter than Delta Green's default "apocalyptically dark."  You do not need to have experience with Delta Green or Call of Cthulhu, but please be mature enough to deal with descriptions of violence, crime, mental illness, and other staples of supernatural horror.  Live sessions will be held on occasional weekends via Owlbear Rodeo. Much of the game will be ran directly on Discord. This will be writing-intensive, if you can't enjoy typing a paragraph and just want to roll dice & move mice this might not be the game for you. The game setting will be Seattle in the 1990s; investigating spooky goings-on amongst the misty forests, thriving music scene, and internet start-ups.  If this interests you, let's talk! This is my first time using this platform so be patient with me.

Delta Green: Reverberations

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
I’m looking for 2 more players for Reverberations, a Delta Green scenario set in modern-day Chicago: "A Nineties rave drug called Reverb is back on the streets, stronger than ever - and now users and dealers are disappearing." Game details System: Delta Green Scenario: Reverberations Date: Saturday, 8 August 2026 Time: 13:00 EEST / 12:00 CEST / 11:00 BST Format: Online (Discord) Length: The scenario may take 1-2 sessions. If necessary, an additional session will be held at the same time on Sunday. What to expect My games tend to be discussion-heavy. Players spend time comparing theories, examining evidence, deciding what different clues might mean, and discussing what they want to investigate next. I use lots of images, clues, handouts, and in-world documents to make the investigation feel tangible. I try to reward curiosity and creativity: noticing details, following leads, asking questions, and making use of the locations and NPCs. My goal is to make the game as immersive as possible. This is an investigative horror game rather than a combat-focused one, although combat is always an option. The point is not necessarily to discover the "correct" answer, but you should enjoy engaging with the mystery and making decisions as a group. I strongly prefer players who have not previously played or read Reverberations, so that everyone can experience the investigation and its surprises naturally. That said, new and experienced players alike are very welcome, and you do not need to know the Delta Green system at all before playing. Platform and registration This will be an online voice game. Accepted players will receive the voice-chat information, character materials, and other game documents before the session. You can read the event details and request a place through my Delta Green calendar: https://luma.com/deltagreen

"Year 0" Prequel One-Shots

New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Hello hello! I am Matthew. I am a new DM building a homebrew world, and I want your help filling in its history. Before my main campaign begins, I am running a series of one-shots set in "Year 0". This is when an apocalyptic cataclysm nearly ends the world. The future campaign will be set centuries afterward. When? I run my business from home and have a family, so M-F during the day works best. These one-shots will take place Tuesday through Thursday, between 9:00am and 2:00pm Central time (chicago area). If you work from home, work nights, or live in a time zone where this is your evening, this table is for you! What is it? You will play low- to mid-level heroes surviving the chaos of a larger conflict. You might be pulling off a desperate heist for a magical artifact, escorting refugees to safety, or holding the line against impossible odds. All of this happens under the shadow of the First King, whose mysterious sacrifice during this era saved the realm but cursed his bloodline forever. Legacy? Yup If you survive, I have a "Fortune & Fate" roll planned to help determine your character's epilogue. Though you will have plenty of creative control over their outcomes. Survive or not - your characters will become the myths, ancestors, and founders in the larger campaign!

Howdy hi!! Shut-in world builder wizard here, just looking for cool people to bring to me and friends' online table for a bespoke variation of 3.5e D&D that focuses less on min-maxing/power-scaling and more on curiosity of the player, experimentation and a whole new toy box of fresh mechanics to dive into! Some of those mechanics share DNA with 5-5.5e concepts and might be familiar to players coming in from the most recent editions, and others have been forged from the mad scientist lab sessions of me and mine over several campaigns! We've got weird new races--psychic plant people, immortal deer fey, juggernaught dwarf-orc hybrids, sentient amnesiac undead, need I go on?! We've got intriguing reworks on old classics-- broad new specialization AND generalization options for casters, exciting new martial feats for bruisers of all types, and much needed re-balances for the discrepancies between Druid and Ranger! We've got an in-house, homemade character sheet template made in Microsoft Excel that tracks your bonuses, debuffs, gear weight, weapon rolls and all your stats in real time! We've got an entirely homebrewed, simple to understand, elemental damage counter system with a table of effects that completely turns the nature of how players and enemies utilize different damage types on its head! All this, and a chill, low-stress, inclusive table of nerds too! Sound good? Then give the profile a poke, and come see if your new favorite homebrewed TTRPG system will be ours! =)
