The Divine Judgment - Homebrew (FREE)

Join us in adventuring into the unknown. The party was transported to a mysterious realm, they have no idea where they are. All they know about this new land is that there is a mad King who will soon be hunting them, and that he needs to be stopped.  What is this land? Will they stop the King? Will they find a way home?

The Arkadian Exports Company

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
An open-world sandbox style campaign focused on gaining power through financial, political and military strength. The party will start at level one(with a few minor enhancements) and pursue local influence and gathering funds. Will you choose to purchase gear and lean into completing bounties or search for treasure among the ruins? Will you invest in a local restaurant and gather rare monster parts for fancy expensive dishes? Will you delve into small town intrigue and increase your fame through quests and manipulation?  I will likely run a one or two session intro where the party is restricted to a small town and must complete their assigned quest. If the group is happy with the world and we all want to continue, we can make any necessary adjustments and open the world up to a much larger mapped area. At that point, the group will be able to explore and jump into quests, bounties, dungeons, etc. If you can pay, you can hire contractors to build, mercenaries to fight, mages to scry. Kill and steal if you like, but beware that unplanned murder and theft can be risky, and the authorities are scary.  This campaign is set in a fairly basic fantasy type world with its own history. You can read the lore dump if you like, but it won't be necessary to play. Magic works as you would expect, deities exist, and whatever else your character might depend on won't be mysteriously absent. This campaign is designed around supporting YOUR fun adventures, and the world is there to facilitate that.  - I am aiming for 3-4 players, games on Saturday nights, and mainly play using voice on Discord and maps on Owlbear.  - There will be graphic violence and people being quite rude to each other.  - Danger is real and your character can die, but that would generally be the result of ignoring clear "are you sure about this?" moments. - Every type of human is welcome, and there will be zero tolerance for shittiness. - Sexual stuff is kept to a minimum.  - If you have anything you would like to be avoided in game(phobias, etc), send me a private message and it won't appear.  Anyone who'd like to join, please check out the application below and respond to any sections you like. New players welcome. https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vTqSonCE6_1giGIJIKV2Yj7eegyb7XQJgNe6U3R2fq7v2psUUEXHZVEdNHb8H5Dl2MsBv7CCosPBPKa/pub

INVESTIGATION NOTICE: OPERATION SKINWALKER

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
To All Available Adventurers & Guild Mercenaries: Recent raids en incursions by the Vorn have left us with a disturbing revelation. We’ve all seen it on the battlefield—the unsettling sight of Vorn forces staring back at us with the stolen faces of our own comrades in arms. We now have reason to believe the Vorn aren't just changing shape; they are 100% Skinwalkers, bound to an ancient, corrupted Fey curse. This upcoming mission is a targeted reconnaissance en survival contract. We are sending a strike team into the Forest of Thorns to investigate an isolated outpost—the Inn of the Black Oak—where reports of these face-stealing, voice-mimicking monstrosities have reached a critical point. If we can understand the Curse of Kosuluth here, we may finally understand what the Vorn truly are en how to stop them from stealing more of our dead. 🎲 Contract Details System: D&D 5e Time: Friday at [INSERT TIME HERE] Level: 5th Level Vibe: Siege Survival, Psychological Paranoia, Campaign Lore Investigation, en Fey-Curse Horror Open Spots: Opening this up to anyone outside of those who have already been briefed! 📋 Objectives & Operational Intel The Threat: You will be holding down a siege against a pack of Skinwalkers. Do not be fooled by familiar voices or friendly faces calling out from the dark. The Clues: Investigate the NPCs, search for the root of this curse, en find out how it ties back to the Vorn incursions. The Rule: Trust no one blindly. The threat outside the doors is deadly, but the betrayal inside will lead you to ruin. Note: Bring a 5th-level character ready to dig into the truth behind the Vorn. Message me or sign up below to claim your spot on the roster before the eind of the dag!
