Painted in Red: a Gothic Learn-to-Play Oneshot

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
You’ve been summoned to investigate a noblewoman’s death. Her final moments point to a haunted portrait where a woman in red moves closer every night. Painted in Red is a beginner-friendly, learn-to-play one-shot set in the gothic world of Andaluria. You’ll play a band of monster hunters summoned to a lavish manor, where a noblewoman has been found dead beneath an ancient family portrait. Inside the painting, a figure in red has appeared—and something about the family history doesn’t add up. Uncover the old secrets of the Valera family and reveal the true nature of the monster you're hired to face. 🎭 Beginner Friendly — No Daggerheart experience required! Learn the rules naturally as we explore the mystery. 🕯️ Pregenerated Characters — Jump straight into the story with a ready-to-play Level 1 character you can add your own flair to. Both Core and Hope & Fear content will be available. 🩸 'Dark Heart of Andaluria' Campaign Frame — Decadent estates, candlelit manors, ghost stories and beautiful things hiding terrible truths...is there anything better? 🌙 If you're a fan of Castlevania, The Witcher, The Haunting of Hill House and Crimson Peak, lit your lantern and hope you survive the night. One-time full cost: 25$  Session time: 3-4 hours Listing on StartPlaying: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmtytpeoj006ojs04dsr3psl2?slug=sixter

Greek-myth campaign for Daggerheart

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
"Five years ago, a thousand ships answered Agamemnon's call and departed Greece to bring about Ilium's ruin. The greatest heroes, the mightiest weapons, and the most mythical stories are somewhere else.  You are among who remains.  I am Homer, and I will sing of you, amongst Other Names." Set in a fabled Age of Rhapsody — paying homage to the Bronze Age, Greek tragedy and comedy, and classical myth — Echoes of Fate is a homebrew Campaign Frame for Daggerheart exploring lies and prophecies, the making of myths, and what it costs to break destiny. You are not the hero the epic was written for. No prophecy names you. No Muse has claimed your story...yet. So what do you make of a life the songs haven't told yet? If you are a fan of myth retellings such as EPIC: the Musical, A Thousand Ships, The Song of Achilles, come sit by the fire. Some notes on the setting: •  The gods are present but distracted — drawing their eye may bring you greatness, or ruin. Or maybe you'll be drawn to the Mysteries instead? •  No prophecy protects you: your choices ripple outward, and could alter canon myths and even the course of the war itself. •  All stories are welcome, this table is LGBTQ+ friendly. •  New to tabletop, Daggerheart, or Greek myth? This table is beginner-friendly. And no Classics degree required, just curiosity. EU-friendly hours (evenings except weekends where I can do mornings or early afternoons) or US- friendly (late afternoons/early evening). Sessions can be weekly or bi-weekly through StartPlaying.com, at 20$ per session. About me: - I've been a Dungeon Master for almost 8 years and I have plenty of experience in guiding new players. I prefer Theater of the Mind with minimal VTT support. - Your story will matter and I love a long, narrative background I can weave into the main story. - I do character voices!  - I also do character artworks :D Safety tools: Session 0, Lines and Veils, Consent checklist and X cards. I prefer to be honest in advance: Echoes of Fate draws from real life in addition to myth. Slavery was present in Ancient Greece, as was mysogyny, war and violence. You will be able to challenge these in-game through your character, or ask me to avoid mentioning them and I will do my best to do so.

Prospective Daggerheart Campaign

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Looking for players for a prospective long-running Daggerheart campaign. I tend to build my storyline around the characters in the group rather than have a set concept in mind, but the basic premise is that the players will take charge of a small farming village miles from anywhere and, over the course of the campaign, collaboratively shape it into a full-fledged city. High player agency and plenty of room for narrative. At present I'm looking for venues in Bristol or Bath; the Hoard is a strong option, as is Bristol Independent Gaming, but I'm also open to other venues.
