Description

"A Five Banners Burning adventure where a jousting tourney celebrates decades of peace, all the while old grudges and hidden conspiracies threaten to plunge Althas into another war." ⚔️ A Medieval vibe with a focus on roleplay. 🏳️ Player driven and collaborative story telling, where choices matter. 🎵  A renaissance inspired soundtrack accompanied by hand drawn visuals This adventure is set in the Five Banners Burning campaign frame, inspired by A Knight of the seven kingdoms, Game of Thrones, Fire Emblem, and Avatar: the Last Airbender. We will journey into a world haunted by a war that ended twenty-five years ago. A text-based session 0 will establish character connections, where we each came from, answering questions, and doing player introductions. Who are you in the chapter? Are you seeking glory? Were you in the War of the Five? Are you from Althas, or the unknown lands beyond? Whatever reason you have to attend this tourney, the future of Althas will depend on the actions you take in the fields around this small Hamlet.

The Good, the Bad and the Enormous!

Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
Platform: Discord (Voice) + HeartofDaggers (character sheets) + Foundry VTT (maps and battle maps) Players: 4–5 | Level 2 characters, created together before we start The Setup The Drylands are frontier country. Prospectors and mages dig Essentia out of these hard hills, and everyone is trying to carve off a piece of it before somebody else does. You have been out on the flats for months. Whatever the job was, it is done and the pay is in your pocket. Now you are riding back into Miquera, the little town in the Caradondo mountain pass. One main street, a saloon, a general store, an old stone church. You can see the smoke long before you reach it. The ground is shaking. Stones are coming down off the peaks. The church spire is leaning, the saloon is burning, and people you have known your whole life are running in the street with buckets that are not going to be enough. Old Jess out by the claim always said the veins were the bones of something sleeping. She said the old gods left their titans in the ground, and that men who dig deep enough will one day dig too deep. Nobody ever paid her much mind. They will now. Expectations & Requirements Player Knowledge: You should have a general understanding of how the basic Daggerheart rules work. We'll build characters together on HeartofDaggers before we start, so no prep needed on your end. Tech Requirements: A working headset and a decent microphone are required for clean audio on Discord. Tone: A frontier western where the ground itself turns against the town. Gameplay: Rescue, investigation, tough choices, and a finale that will test the whole party.

The Great Sir Barkalot Rescue!

House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
In the frontier town of Greystone, where merchants shout their wares and adventurers pass through on their way to unknown destinations, a note on the town board catches your eye: beekeeper Milla's most loyal companion, Sir Barkalot, has vanished, and a reward of two handfuls of gold awaits whoever brings him safely home. Some speak of strange little figures in the fields, while others whisper of dark forces pulling the strings. One thing is certain: this will be an adventure that tests your courage, wits, and teamwork, with hopefully as much laughter as danger along the way!

Looking for new players for shadowdark RPG games in Keswick,Cumbria.  I have an established gaming group and am looking to expand session frequency through additional players Group is new player friendly Shadowdark is a rules-lite d20 system with OSR vibes. Open to other game systems in the future. Current casual  campaign is a west marches style setup where each session an expedition party leaves a central base to explore the world through rumours and previous expedition logs , each session ends with surviving party members returning to base.  Looking for players wanting to play sessions between weekly and monthly cadence, If is enough players available on a day(3+) then I will run a session/expedition.
