Dungeondraft

Overview

Dungeondraft is a specialized, standalone map-making software designed specifically for creating high-quality TTRPG battlemaps. Developed by Megasploot (the creator of the world-building tool Wonderdraft), it was released in 2020 and has since become the industry favorite for GMs who want to build detailed, tactical maps without needing professional graphic design skills. It is famous for its "smart" tools that handle walls, lighting, and object scattering automatically, allowing a full encounter map to be completed in minutes. Description Dungeondraft bridges the gap between simple grid-sketching and complex image editors like Photoshop. It features a unique, hand-drawn aesthetic that fits perfectly with modern fantasy games. The software is built for efficiency; drawing a room automatically places floors and walls, and the integrated lighting engine allows you to place torches that cast realistic shadows in real-time. In 2026, it remains a "buy-once-own-forever" staple, free from the subscription models that have taken over much of the creative software market. System Overview & Key Features
Smart Wall and Floor Tools Building a structure is as simple as clicking and dragging. The tool automatically handles corners, joins, and textures. If you move a wall, the floor expands with it, and placing a window or door automatically "cuts" the wall to fit the asset.
Integrated Dynamic Lighting Dungeondraft allows you to place light sources with customizable colors, intensity, and flicker. These lights interact with the walls you've drawn, casting shadows that provide an instant sense of depth and atmosphere to any dungeon or tavern.
Universal VTT Export One of its most powerful features is the ability to export maps directly into formats for Foundry VTT, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds. These exports include the "wall data" and "light data," meaning you don't have to redraw your walls in your virtual tabletop software.
Object Scattering and Paths The Scatter Tool allows you to "paint" clutter like rocks, grass, or debris with randomized rotation and scale, making environments feel organic. The Path Tool lets you draw roads, rivers, or fences that follow a smooth curve automatically.
Massive Custom Asset Support While the base software comes with a complete art style, the community has created thousands of additional packs. You can easily import assets from famous artists like Forgotten Adventures or Crosshead, allowing you to completely change the look of your maps.
Terrain and Water Painting The software includes a multi-layered terrain brush that lets you blend different textures like sand, dirt, and grass. The water tool allows you to create pools and rivers with adjustable transparency and "edge foam" for a professional finish.

Character illustrations
Hi! My name is Cheto See, and I’m a Concept Artist/Illustrator. I make artwork for TTRPG Sourcebooks and even more fun, commissions of players’ characters. My specialty is designing characters, and helping people visually build their characters, sometimes in ways they couldn’t even imagine. I have a background in costume design, I continuously research historical clothing and equipment, and supernatural lore from many different cultures, and I even practice historical archery, and have dabbled in HEMA. When it comes to visually building fantasy characters, I know my stuff! /images/general-media/1779283367_8UhQmszY.jpg I can draw: - Full Body Character Artwork (with a plain background) - Half Body Character Artwork (with a simple background) - Character Reference Sheets (with Front and Back views and costume and prop callouts) - Even simple colored sketches just to help you visualize your character! RollCamp

Virtual tabletop (VTT)
English
Dungeons & Dragons
RollCamp is a VTT that only supports D&D 2024, and it's staying that way. No system-agnostic engine, no expansion roadmap to other games, no plugin marketplace. One ruleset, built in properly. Campaigns Each campaign has its own page the DM can customize with a name, description and background image. There's an archive for images, soundtracks and notes, and the DM decides what gets shared: everything to the party, or specific resources to specific players only. Notes are always private to whoever wrote them, DM included. You can create characters, NPCs and monsters, homebrew or from the book. /images/general-media/1785692364_6WIioI3C.webpCampaign page Character sheets Sheets are dynamic. You go through the creation wizard, and (almost) every choice you make propagates: AC, HP, saves, proficiencies, weapon masteries, spell slots, spell save DC. Change your armor, pick a different feat, choose a fighting style, and the numbers follow. You're not typing your own AC into a box and hoping you did the math right. There's a full creation wizard and a guided level-up wizard, so leveling is "click level up, answer the questions it asks you" instead of "open the PHB, find your class table, remember what you're supposed to get at 5th level." Maps There's a built-in map editor. You import your own battlemap (up to 8K resolution), set the grid, place tokens, done. You can attach character and monster sheets to tokens. /images/general-media/1785692445_bZb4aSu1.webpMap creator page The Table Itself Almost everything in the session exists to keep the game from stopping. Dice are 3D and animated so a roll is a shared moment rather than a number in a log. Webcams are built in over P2P so nobody has to juggle a second app. Initiative lives in a tracker the DM controls, so the turn order isn't something one person is holding in his head. The compendium is available in session as well as out of it, which kills the classic five-minute pause where someone goes looking up a spell. Same idea behind the chat, and because the sheets are interactive you can drop a spell or a feature into it as a link with the full text attached. Nobody has to describe from memory what the ability does. Links rollcamp.com - Official website discord.gg - Discord server r/RollCamp - Subreddit page
